Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A notable gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination.
